Join us at a free and fun family Roman Camp 25th & 26th June in York Museum Gardens during the famous Eboracum Festival

11am-3pm

Inspired by the Ryedale Roman hoard and the famous Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius we're setting up Camp in York Museum Gardens in front of the museum on the lawn where you can join both days in a feast of fun

• Hear how the hoard was found and then buried again with our Roman Storyteller Dagvalda

• Take part in the Emperor's Treasure Hunt around the museum gardens

• Help craft a clay bass relief of The Emperor, His Horses and A Roman Feast

• Swing a Plumb Bob (you'll have to come play to find out more)

• Take part in a Cardboard Caper Equestrian Games

• Craft a Victory Crown fit for leading a legion

If you can't join us in person, and know people who love Minecraft then join us online 9am-11am Saturday 25th June where you can build a Roman Plot of your dreams up until the 31st July, from anywhere in world, beyond the Holy Roman Empire
